About
NTPC stands for Non-Technical Popular Categories. Through it, Indian Railways’ Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) fill non-technical posts such as clerk, ticket clerk, goods train manager and station master. Some posts are at the 12th-pass (undergraduate) level and some at graduate level.
A recruitment starts with a Centralised Employment Notice (CEN). Selection usually runs through first and second stage computer-based tests (CBT-1, CBT-2), a typing or aptitude test for some posts, then document verification and a medical.
Results and notices are published on each regional RRB’s website. Check the website of the RRB you applied to.
